Save the Commons is a group of passionate community members dedicated to the future of the Qualicum Commons and Craig Street Commons.

We are made up of over 20 community members and representatives from local organizations that see value in saving the commons. 

We believe that the organizations who provide services and programs for youth, families and seniors at both Craig Street and Qualicum Commons are essential to the health and wellbeing of the Oceanside community. 

We want to ensure that both of the Commons remain vibrant, accessible gathering spaces for all community members. 

OUR OBJECTIVES:

• raise awareness of the potential and devastating impact of losing the organizations who provide services and programs for youth, families and seniors at both Commons

• gather support and feedback from the public to inform the creation of a proposal to save both Qualicum Commons and Craig Street Commons. 

We believe that public support is required to Save the Commons.
